WP Pro Brake Systems: from Past to Present
80's
In 1981, WP Pro started out as an OEM brake parts supplier.

We grew quickly and in 1982 began developing perfomance pads and rotors under the Winner Power brand name.
90's
In 1995, WP Pro developed the multi-piston caliper incorporating various sized pistons. In fact, we were one of the very first brake manufacturers to do so. These new calipers specifically addressed the "abrupt stop" syndrome.

In 1997, WP Pro introduced its first production six piston brake kit & in the following year showcased this kit at SEMA & the Birmingham Auto Show.

In 1999, we developed our breakthrough eight piston system & subsequently became heavily involved with regional racing, everything from the Macau Grand Prix to local Auto-X.
00's
2000 saw WP Pro participating in its first Tokyo Auto Salon.

By 2002, WP Pro had over 400 brake applications available for consumer use.

2003 saw WP Pro open a new production facility incorporating the newest in machining techniques; techniques that enable us to provide the best possible brake kits.

WP Pro signaled the start of the second generation of brake calipers in 2004 by introducing the world's first 12 piston brake system, the EVO 12.

By the end of 2005, WP Pro had offices in Hong Kong, Australia & Germany.

In 2006 second generation 6 & 8 pot brake kits were put into production and the WP Pro wear indicator was introduced.

In 2008, WP Pro North America was established to provide initial sales support, after-sale support, as well as technical support for race teams.

In 2010, with over 500 applications available, the new L8 model was introduce with the new flexible-design architect.
In 2011, WP Pro have developed well over 600 applications and introduced the EX6 and R4 maintenance free calipers based on the flexible-design architect, with available upgradeable racing pistons.
